Each by the case
West Cape Howe Regional Range Old School Chardonnay
Bright with a light straw colour. Quite perfumed with lovely ripe melon fruit aromas predominating, especially rockmelon and honeydew. There are some white peach and nectarine characters also, which sit well with the gentle vanilla honeyed characters from the French oak. This is a beautifully textured Chardonnay which has a fullness to the palate while still having a delicate silky fineness. After 5 months on lees, the light, toasty oak characters are well integrated with the peachy fruit flavours. It is well weighted with a delicate acidity contributing to its good length of flavour.
